How we work
Once your document arrives at North Star, you can be sure it is in safe hands. The flow chart below will give you an idea of how we work.
On receiving your document we analyse it and send you a quote within 24 hours. The quote includes any additional design/layout work you may require, and will also confirm your preferred deadline. If this is your first translation through us, we require an initial deposit of 50% before we can start on your translation.

Once you give us the go ahead, our professional team of translators and native checkers get to work. As North Star Language Services only works with professional translators, you can rest easy in the knowledge that your document will be completed to the highest standard on time, every time.

Once your document has been translated and checked for accuracy it is delivered to our DTP staff, who make sure the file looks exactly how you want it. So when you get the final product, all you have to do is press "Control - P" to use your well-presented document immediately. Our DTP team are well-versed in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, and can also handle a wide range of other applications such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and web page design.

After the necessary layout work is completed your document undergoes a final check before delivery. Once we have confirmed that you have received your document and are satisfied, we will issue the final invoice. We require an initial deposit and payment in full on delivery for first time customers, but credit terms are available for regular clients.
